Hello Paul whittle, web manager from Memorial University of Newfoundland(mun.ca), just wondering if anyone is using Ning for alumni groups.
I use it for a couple of social networks but it seems like a good tool for alumni.
Hi, my name is Lisa and I am a technology coordinator at a high school in Forestville, Maryland. In the fall of 2010 I will be teaching an IB course, Information Technology in a Global Society, and am interested in integrating a Ning network in my class. I want to see how other educators are incorporating Ning to help determine if this is the best technology to suit my classroom needs. My students will be conducting coursework over the summer so I want to be able to post assignments, post and conduct discussions, and encourage students to blog about their experiences. I like the ability to post photos, videos, and podcasts to this network. Also, that fact that it is secure is also equally important. I'm curious if there are any tutorials that can give me an idea of how to properly set up a Ning site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
My name is Joe McCright. I teach Spanish and Physical Education to students in grades Pre-Kindergarten - 4th at Alexandria Country Day School in Alexandria, Louisiana.
