Using Ning for Educational Social Networks

My name is Bonnie Maye and I teach at a middle school at El Segundo, CA. I have worked in the district for over 15 years and love my job.

I am big on getting students to summarize the information presented and to then put the information into their own words. Students need to learn that using autosummary is not the end all and be all-- they need to summarize so that they are able to relate the new material to something that they already have a concept for.
