I teach a K/1st multiage class at Borton Primary Magnet School in the Tucson Unified School District.
There is a computer lab at my school and my students spend 30 minutes in there each week. Mostly, they are learning how to log on and off and how to navigate various age appropriate programs. This past year, my 1st grade math students worked on a System's Thinking program set up by our System's Thinking specialist. This became a powerful learning tool. But, I'd still like to do more.
I'm fortunate to have a great collaboration team consisting of three other K/1 teachers. We often share students as well as student work. We all have similar teaching philosophies and I highly value their opinions. It is a very positive experience. I will often tell one of my students that i have shared their writing with one or all of the other teachers and I share the feedback. I find that my students enjoy this kind of feedback, too.
