Using Ning for Educational Social Networks
Ning for < 13 year olds
Hi,
So excited to set up a ning site for my 5ht graders when.... reading the print, realize, 13 or older COPPA etc etc. Any ideas on what to do that is similar for 11 year olds who are very tech savvy!!!???

Sadly there's nothing that Ning offers for this age group. I asked and they have promised not to collect information on children this age. Hence no service offered. You could just sign the kids on as being older than they actually are but there may be ethics issues with parents and school.
