I am writing as an African student undertaking a medical studies. For Africa to develop and attain the status of a 'current world',there is need on the board to have scientific advanced knowledge. We can only achieve this by encouraging scientific education on all levels varying on the kind of curriculum adapted by the various countries of Africa. Many might have thought of this or yet to accept but the question is 'how can Africa manage it?'There is a simple procedure to follow:
First of all make sure that though with our greedy and narrow focused leaders,we must unite.Establish scientific websites where African science students will be able to share with the rest.Make information available on line either at low cost or for free.Organise continental scientific shows that will make some students and others in the field come together at least once a year.Another question that may arise is 'how can it be started?'It is very easy.First if things seem difficult, organise in respective countries.Make information available to all and present such an article in the annual reviews meetings.
By doing those and others not mentioned here,I believe Africa can make a success to this scientific education to many and in few years to come one will see that there will be a great difference which is helpful to the continuous generation.
