Hi my name is Hector Guzman and last year I took the AP World History exam and passed. I had a great instructor and something that I felt helped me pass the test with confidence were the practice exams and after school study sessions we did before the exam.
It really helped me see how ready I was for the exam. Out of my class of 10, 6 people passed with 3, one student got a 5, and 3 students failed. For the most part those who were committed and read passed. Those who failed, failed because they didn't study and really didn't understand the material and style of writing needed for the exam. The student who got a 5 is destined to be the valedictorian of our class and took the class seriously accepting every opportunity there was to prepare for the exam.
Right now I am preparing for the AP US History exam and AP English Composition exam. I know I'll do well but I hope to get a 4 or 5 this time around so that I can get college credit. Wish me luck!
