@Linda Fitzgibbon,

I would hope anything that helps students to learn or facilitates teaching would be on the "subject", hence, posting a survey should be acceptable.

G'day. I have a quick question. Would it be appropriate and useful for me to post a link to short survey here? It's for a research project looking at in-class behaviours of first year university students in complusory English as a Foreign Language classes.

Hi all - I work for Charles Darwin University in Central Australia with students with low level skills. My main area of interest is the use of online technologies to improve engagement and access for my students, and would love to learn from others who have worked in this way with this student demographic.

I'm a professor at Millersville University where I teach instructional technology. I currently use Ning as a replacement for Blackboard or Moodle with the online classes I teach.

@Collette Snowden,

On "I'm from the University of South Australia School of Communication and I'm using NING with a large undergraduate course (subject) in Public Relations", could you provide its specific forum URL or the like that I may check out as well? If it's inconvenient posting to the public pls pm me.

Thanks.

Hi there,
how I got to SK is a l o n g story. My supervisors are Issac Lee and Dick Bauldorf.

My research is with undergrads learning English. It's a fascinating subject, and am interested in your ideas to learn how my grad students learn. They read books in English ( the tranlsated versions in secret) and I try REALLY hard to understand their own teaching histories and cognitive styles at the same time trying to give them an international 'level' education......

How excellent :) Let's talk more about this...and what you are doing in South Korea. Who is your supervisor here at UQ? Motivation and engagement is a really interesting topic..can't wait to talk more :)
