With your interest in distance learning I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's web based power point presentation platform. Both have feature rich free basic service and might be fun and useful to you and LACUE members.

Louisiana LACUE Presentation

This week is the 2008 Louisiana LACUE (Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators) conference in Baton Rouge. Today, several of us involved in a pilot project presented about Using Voice Tools to Personalize Instruction. It was a good session.
