@Bobby Johnston, I would venture to say analytical skill is key, after learning key events/facts in History, top students need to be able to draw lesson from history, without that learning is half useful (for discourse only, deducted from Francis B…

The query has two parts: A) Note-taking is an integral part of the learning process, is the century-old paper/pen method more effective than note-taking digitally provided the person has a computer? B) If the latter is true, would a word processor…

Hi Lisa, I'd like to but I'm not in the best position to do so while you're. And it might be a challenge to shrink it to 140 characters (for twitter) just for the heck of it. Regards, Don

@Linda Fitzgibbon, I would hope anything that helps students to learn or facilitates teaching would be on the "subject", hence, posting a survey should be acceptable.

Hi, It's interesting but I admit I haven't finished reading all (about one third). It would be wonderful to extract just one-liner for each prediction, then my reading would have finished sooner, or possibly better, one version of summary of one-li…

This is not exactly a blog but rather a query

The query has two parts:

A) Note-taking is an integral part of the learning process, is the century-old paper/pen method more effective than note-taking digitally provided the person has a computer?

B) If the latter is true, would a word processor be more effective than a specially designed tool for note-taking?

Would appreciate any insight into it.

Thanks for your time.
