Here I am investigating yet another great tool for teaching and learning!! This is like being given free access to the sweetie shop and we can choose whatever we please. The trick is to not get sick....
So what does this new tool (ning) offer that other platforms do not? Well, that is why I am here, to find out, play around, and enjoy the ride....

I started a wiki yesterday on "early Man" and am also very excited - view the pages at http://springfieldearlyman.pbwiki.com/ -- You will probably have to be a PB wiki user or try using the login key "veritas" without the "'s! The girls are tremendously excited about having access to the resources and to uploading wherever they are (home/school) and are working in pairs. You might have to view all pages at the bottom to find my pages - let me know what you think. I'm still working on the materials. Do you know of any anthropologists we can bring in as "specialists"? These are Gd 5's....
My delicious account is carbru e.g.http://del.icio.us/carbru
Great to hear from you. My "normal" e-mail is carolynn@bruton.wcape.school.za (home) or carbru@sfc.wcape.school.za (school)

Unfortunately our school web page has recetly been upgraded (by management and marketing) and most of my doanloadable resources were linked to it (and my web-based projects of 10+ years). However, if this had not happened then I would not have pursued web 2.0 with such excitement. Is maintaining a blog part of your M Ed requirements?

Carolynn
Maggie and I worked together on eMerge conference in July last year. I've been learning stuff from her ever since. Have you joined her ICT4champions group?
