Hi Maureen. Your question about groups made me think you might be interested in something a bit simpler. Ning is great for building your own big social network, but it can be overkill for simpler, smaller networks. Also, it is very difficult to manage multiple networks on it which is a problem for teachers that are trying to create multiple environments for their various classes, etc. That's something we've addressed with our solution at www.zloop.com, and we have just opened it to the public. We would be very grateful for your feedback.
