About Me

Hey out there! Thanks to Mr. Schnee, I found out about Ning! My hope is that the students in my class can all create their own profiles here so we can begin to network with students in other places, starting with our E-buddies in California. I think the kids will LOVE this site, because of it's similiarities with ever-so-popular myspace. Who knows though? Nobody, until we try it out! : )

Here is another resource for you to consider when working with your students:

It's from another ning site for education.

You're right it is a safe MySpace page. I'll have to research the age thing, but Steve might be right, but I believe there would be a way we could get permissions somehow.

If you had older students, that might actually be interesting if they wanted to participate in the discussions about Ning in education, but for most students I'd really recommend starting your own Ning network for your classroom and having your students sign up there. As it looks like you are teaching 6h graders, I have to let you know (frown) that Ning currently requires that anyone using Ning be 13 years old.
