With WiZiQ you have a free or cheap powerful web based Virtual Classroom. Its very user friendly and requires no downloads. That's why I was so attracted to it. You just get on and go; no downloads no waiting to make sure everyone is up to date with software installations. Plus wiziq is super easy to use. My view is you need to be able to use it within 15 seconds.

BTW I use Wiziq to teach AP History classes to homeschoolers online.

With your work in Ed Tech and Media, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
