Here are some ideas I have .....
- compare energy usage in specific classes - students take specific rooms - before and after scenario. I think I can get my hands on tally sheets if you need 'em. This works well for students to learn about energy calculations and natural resources.
- recycle effort where students get organized and do recycling once a week from classes/offices.
- improve campus where students pick a specific area of the school and align on ideas to improve/implement them .... for example, to reduce water usage, plant garden, or improve landscape maintence.
- install alternative energy (solar or wind) to reduce grid energy consumption.
- begin and monitor effort to reduce junk food consumption on campus
