Yes, I attended NECC 2004 in New Orleans, 2008 in San Antonio, and am planning to attend 2009 in Washington DC. Hope to see you there.
With your work in Instructional Technology for your District, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
I teach fourth grade in Metairie, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans) and was wondering if you are the same Vicki Green who taught at Kehoe-France back in the seventies. I taught there for three years. If so its great to know where you are and what you are doing. If not maybe we could be colleagues anyway.
