Hi Yoram, Ning is a hosted solution, it can't be hosted on your own server. As far as static pages go there are two seperate features, notes and pages, which you can use to create pages, you can also use the pages feature to embed external pages and of course you can add tabs to the menu bar which link to external sites.

Hi Yannay, the widgets and scripts are to enable people visiting networks to read them and communicate in their own language no matter what the language of the network is. Completely Hebrew networks such as Edureshet the network for Israeli educators have been translated and aligned for Hebrew "by hand".
