Hi Colette! It is so nice to meet other teachers from our area! I am a substitute teacher for PPS at the moment (ugh!) and I needed some real love :), so I started teaching English over on another ning, called Hors Les Murs. It has been an interesting experiment, to see if I can teach across language and cultures, personally, online. Here is the link to some of my voicethreads, and to Hors. There is a sweetness to this... it is very dear, we will see how it goes. Also, I don't speak any French, but I still get by on the site (I use Google translate, and babel, when I have to).

David, over at EFL Classroom, has done a lot with voicethreads, and all other web 2.0 technology, and you might be interested in poking around his site (lots and lots of ESL material). And finally, Connie Weber at Fireside Learning uses a closed Ning with her 4/5 class... I want to get her talking about her curriculum more.

I haven't stopped by Ning in Education in a few months, so thank you for calling my attention back to it with your note. It is so nice to meet you!
