I read your introductory comment with interest. I work in FE and many of our students have had an unhappy education experience and our priorities are about engagement, motivation, self-confidence and managing themselves. They want to learn, they want to better themselves but need support in doing themselves justice. I would like to see a conversation in this area - I've seen much discussion in the UK that is dominanted by the HE sector and I think in FE we have some different challenges. But as you suggested it, I'll let you start the forum topic!
