Research Confirms Anne Frank's Incisive Insight

The Greek etymology of the word “character” has always intrigued me. The term originated from the concept of a distinctive mark, etching, or stamp. According to this derivation, each of us—like so many snowflakes—has a unique identity, distinguishing mark, or character. But I can’t help seeing marks we might receive from stamps or etching as something externally imposed. How much, I’ve always wondered, can we shape our own emerging, evolving character from within?

Hi Mike,
I have a group of MS students who are studying microcredits. We are a Catholic school and I began this study with my accelerated group as a way of encouraging a look at some innovative approaches addressing poverty.
Our students are generously gifted in material things, as I know yours are as well.
These young people will help lead the way to make a difference.
Are you interested in doing anything with us on this topic?
