Susan, could you please contact me at rjob@mbteach.org? I've got an OK for a pre-conference Ning and would really like to ask for your feedback on certain items--seeing as your farther down the road on this than I am. Thanks so much.

Interestingly,

Wiziq supports the Chinese language if you have the program. So if you have a Hebrew program I hope it is supported as well.

Hi Susan,

Try Wiziq again. Flash (the system Wiziq uses) has improved quite a bit since then. Also Flash and Wiziq will continue to imporve over the next few weeks and months that will get rid of most of the audio problems.

Hi Susan,

With your work in Education Technology out of Israel, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

I'm going to keep this one short :-) I am tech coordinator in an elementary school in Israel. I have spent this summer learning, testing and having fun with some of the web20 tools available, but my pet project has been translating the ning platform in order to be able to use it with my students. If you'd like to see Ning in Hebrew you're welcome to take a look:

I have a much more fun profile page on classroom20
